PANEER POLLICHATHU..
Paneer -1/2 kg
Onion - 1
Ginger - 2 tbsp

Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp

Tamarind -lemon sized ball soaked in water

PREPARATION
Slice the paneer into 2/3 depending on the thickness of it.

Pour coconut oil into a hot pan.
Add mustard, ginger, garlic, onion and chilly and cook till it turn brown.
Add tomato cut into small pieces and cook again. When cooked, add turmeric powder,chilly powder, coriander powder, and stir it well.
Add tamarind water &curry leaves.Add some coconut milk into it. Add salt and stir well.Now the spicy marinade is ready.
Make holes on paneer with a fork.
Take the banana leaf (softened in fire),spread some gravy on the leaf and place the paneer piece and cover it with some more gravy.Wrap it well and tie it with a thread..
Heat a pan and place the packets n heat up for few mins turn as the banana leaf colour changes.. Serve it hot..
