STUFFED BANANA PEPPER FRY


This snack is a variation to mulaku baji fries...It has a blend of sweet n spicy..an ideal snack for tea time...



INGREDIENTS


1.Banana peppers/baji mulaku : 5
2.Ripe bananas : 2 cut into small pieces so that it can be filled into the peppers.
3.Chickpea flour (Besan) - 1 cup
4.Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
5.Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
6.Salt - 1/2 tsp or to taste
7.Asafoetida - a small pinch
8.Ginger - 1 tsp, finely minced
9.Water - about 1/4 cup or as needed
10.Oil - for frying
PREPARATION

Mix all the ingredients from 3-9 to form a thick batter.
Remove the chilly seeds from the peppers and stuff banana pieces into it.
Dip the peppers in the batter.
Deep fry the peppers in hot oil on medium heat, until crisp and cooked.
