PANEER-PALAK IN SPICY GRAVY
BUTTER - 2 Tbsp
ALL PURPOSE FLOUR - 1 Tbsp
SALT to taste
GARAM MASALA -1 Tsp
CHILLY POWDER - 1 Tbsp
GREEN CHILIES -3 nos
CHOPPED CORIANDER -1 Bunch
CHOPPED ONIONS - 1/2 Cup
GRATTED PANEER -1 Cup
SPINACH (BLANCHED AND CHOPPED) -1 Cup
GINGER GARLIC PASTE - 1 Tbsp
TURMERIC - 1/2 Tsp
TOMATO PUREE - 1 Cup
PEPPER POWDER - 1 tsp
SUGAR - 1 Tsp
CREAM - 2-3 tbsp
BELL PEPPER - 1 (cut into 3 slices and smoked either on a hot tawa or oven)
METHOD
1. Take a bowl add spinach (blanched and chopped) add grated paneer, chopped coriander, chopped green chilies, add salt, and chilly powder and garam masala and mix it up.
2. Make kofta (cutlets)out of this add all purpose flour to make it tight together and shape you like.
3. Take pan heat oil, koftas put it into the hot oil and fry them. And transfer the kofta in a plate. In the same oil add some onions, and butter, turmeric, salt, rest of the green chilies, tomato puree, add chilly powder cook this till the oil ooze out, Once the tomatoes are cooked, add Red bell pepper which has been smoked and remove the flesh out of it, and made a nice paste.
4. Add the bell pepper paste in to the mixture, and cook this till oil ooze out. Add garam masala powder, and pepper powder and cook for some time, add some water, make thick gravy, add butter and cream and mix it up.
5. And drop the koftas in to the gravy and cook for a minute and switch off the flame, and serve it.
Serves best with Nan,Roti etc
