Batbout
The stove top method of cooking batbout (also called mkhamer or toghrift) yields a soft and chewy bread.It's perfect for making sandwiches of all kinds, and is especially good with grilled meat.You can also serve batbout dipped in hot syrup made from butter and honey.
Ingredients
You can use the same dough of Khobz( the previous recipe).
Preaparation
Take a portion of the dough and flatten it with your palm and spread into large circle with a roller.Using a glass or cookie cutter make small circular discs from it.place it on a tray and keep it for one hour.
Heat a pan and toast the batbouts..To serve the batbouts ,slice it and spread cheese,chicken,fish etc..They are cute and delcious.
