FISH CUTLET



INGREDIENTS


 Any thick fleshed fish(tuna,mackerel,salmon)
 Onion : 1 big finely chopped
 Ginger : - 1 medium size finely chopped
 Garlic : 4 to 6 finely chopped
 Green chilly : - 2 small finely chopped
 Potato : - 2 big (boiled and smashed)
 Turmeric : 1 tsp
 Pepper powder : 2 tsp
 Garam Masala : small pinch
 Salt : to taste
 Bread crumbs : - 1 cup
 Egg white : 2 eggs
 Curry leaves
 Oil : for frying

PREPARATION

Wash and clean the fish, Boil the fish with turmeric powder, salt and pepper powder in it. Remove the bones and mince it and keep it aside (1 cup)
In a pan , add 2 tbsp of oil, Saute onion till transparent, then add ginger, garlic and finely chopped green chilly it and saute very well till the raw smell goes out.
In that add, turmeric powder, pepper powder, garam masala and salt .
Add mashed potato ,minced fish and salt to taste. Add chopped curry leaves in it. Saute very well till the mixture becomes uniform.
When the mixture becomes cool, make small balls of desired shapes.
Beat egg white in a ball, dip the fish balls in it and roll it in bread crumbs.
Deep fry in oil
Serve it with tangy onion salad (onion+vinegar+salt)
