STUFFED PEPPERS..
A classic American dish that one can’t easily find in restaurants is stuffed bell peppers. Also there is an italian version with some changes
Ingredients
2 red bell peppers(also other colours..y nt they look colourful !!)
2 cups brown rice/long grain rice
Butter - 2 tbsp
Shredded meat - 1/2 cup
Hot sauce -1 tbsp
Rosemary sprig
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella, divided
1 can diced tomatoes, drained
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut the red peppers in half and scoop out the seeds and ribs. Place them onto a baking sheet.
Heat a pan,add butter,saute the meat,add rice,hotsauce,rosemary sprig, half the cheese and
tomatoes. Stuff the peppers with the rice-meat mixture, dividing it evenly.
Top the peppers with the remaining cheese.
Bake until the peppers are tender and the cheese has melted, 25 to 30 minutes
