STUFFED BHINDI WITH PEPPERS
Bhindi(lady’s finger) - 250 grams
Oil - 2 ½ tbsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Gram flour - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Fennel - 1 tsp
Aamchur powder - ½ tsp
Salt - add to taste or ¾ tsp
Red chilli powder - less than ¼ tsp
Garam masala - ¼ tsp
Red peppers and onions- sliced lengthwise
PREPARATION
Wash Bhindi properly, remove water from them and wipe with a cloth. Make a cut slit vertically.
Mix all the ingredients except oil,onions&peppers with 1 or 2 tablespoon water.Stuff the masala in the bhindies..In a large skillet add some oil and arrange the bhindies keeping the slit upward..Close it with a lid..springle water every 5 mins.
Check if Bhindi has turned soft,when they start add the red pepper and onions.Let them all cook together for 6-8 mins..
Stuffed Bhindi with peppers is ready..Serve with Chapatis, Paranthas or rice.
